From 1 – 15 August 2007 the International YCS held its Global Formation Session and World Council in Kampala, Uganda.  161 participants from 53 countries gathered to learn strategies for engaging in social action integrally linked to Christian faith.  Some of the session’s themes were: poverty eradication, peace building, education and climate change. Through intercultural exchange participants developed global consciousness and a firm commitment to action for positive change.
